The exhibition brings together two artists – Yuge Kurt (Vilnius) and Egmontas Geras (London) – whose collaboration was born not in a physical space, but within a hybrid digital realm. Living in different countries, they have been sharing creative ideas for more than three years, yet they have never met in person. The exhibition can therefore be understood as the materialization of this unusual dialogue.
By employing contemporary technologies and artificial intelligence, both artists explore the condition of contemporary identity and invite viewers to reconsider the forms in which we exist today. The artists have adapted their names: Vilnius-based Yuge Kurt adopted a name for her creative work beyond Lithuania, while London-based Egmontas Geras adapted his for the Lithuanian context. For them, identity is not a fixed point, but a constantly shifting configuration – I live here, I create for there; I live there, I create for here.
At the intersections of digital and physical spaces, a new zone of perception emerges in which identity, technology, and art operate as equal partners. The exhibition asks not who I am, but in how many forms I exist, and whether this multiplicity is already becoming our new reality.
