A sensory performance in the dark: “Why Am I Here?”

The audience will “watch” the performance and take part in it themselves in complete darkness—not by seeing, but by relying on their other senses: touch, hearing, smell and taste… Intuition will help, too. Participants will experience what it is like to perceive their surroundings without the 85% of information about reality that sight provides.

The performance in the dark offers an experience of stepping into the life and everyday reality of a blind person. It invites you to consider how people live when fate has denied them… light. Or perhaps darkness? “Why am I here?” is an encounter with yourself.

Live music accompanies the performance. One or more of the following performers will take part:

You can book a private performance for a group (10 people or more; group discounts are available). This sensory performance is suitable for celebrating a birthday or another special occasion, bringing a team together, or simply enjoying time with friends.
