How to Publish an Event

The events website www.vilnius-events.lt serves as a platform to collect and present the most important cultural events taking place in Vilnius that could be of interest to residents and guests to the city. Information about events is announced free of charge. Moreover, the website’s administrator has the right to select which events to publish.

The main criteria for event selection:

1. Events are of a high importance to cultural life in the city and represent the city well.
2. Events are included into the calendar of traditional events.
3. Events are supported by the Vilnius City Municipality and its administered cultural institutions.
4. Events are open and relevant to a broad spectrum of people.
5. Events are interesting for tourists coming from various countries.

Events that are not published or published only with administrator approval:

1. Events with no detailed information (there is no information about the date, place, ticket price, or there is no description, photo)
2. Religious rites and holidays organised by religious communities
3. Events meant for narrow interest groups
4. Continuous events or event cycles
5. Studies, lessons, courses, workshops, camps and selection to studies
6. Presentational events of commercial products or services
7. Political agitation events
