Specialty Coffee Tasting in a 19th-Century Water Mill

You will dive into the world of coffee – from its origins to the perfectly brewed cup led by a coffee technologist and professional barista.

You will discover the history of coffee and learn professional tasting principles that help identify the flavours, aromas, and origins of coffee beans. We will prepare coffee using 4 different tools: Chemex, V60, AeroPress, and French press.

You will taste carefully selected coffees from different regions of the world, including award-winning varieties recognized at the prestigious Global Coffee Awards. Together, we will analyse the character, texture, and flavour profile of each region.

After the tasting, you will discover a wider palette of flavours and, most importantly, you will understand what kind of coffee you truly enjoy.

You will taste specialty coffee served in handmade stoneware cups crafted in Portugal.

A sweet surprise will be waiting for you at the end of the tasting.

The event takes place in an early 19th-century water mill belonging to the Verkiai Palace ensemble, designed – just like the palace itself – by Laurynas Stuoka-Gucevičius. The sound of the nearby waterfall will accompany you throughout the entire tasting.
