Photography Exhibition: “Children of Exile – Children of Hope”

The Lithuanian Parliament Reading Room (Seimo skaitykla) invites visitors to the opening of a photography exhibition by member of the Lithuanian Journalists’ Union and photo artist Albertas Švenčionis titled “Children of Exile – Children of Hope.”

The exhibition is dedicated to Remembrance and Hope Day and marks the 85th anniversary of the Great Deportations.

Opening on Friday, June 12 at 10:00 AM, the exhibition is a sensitive and meaningful journey through stories of exile, childhood memories, and enduring human resilience. It reveals the lives of children who experienced deportation, highlighting their preserved hope, faith, and love for life even under the harshest conditions.

The exhibition is under the patronage of the Speaker of the Seimas Juozas Olekas and the Lithuanian Association of Political Prisoners and Deportees.
