Pianist Augustinas Eidukonis, who lives in France, presents a new program in which works from different eras meet between two musical principles – song and dance.
The first part of the concert will reveal the songfulness: from Beethoven’s Sonata (op. 109) to Rachmaninoff’s preludes. The second part will be dedicated to music inspired by dance: from Haydn’s sonata to Chopin’s works, where the rhythms of folk dances turn into poetry, nostalgia and virtuoso brilliance.
