Exhibition for the Year of Motiejus Valančius

The Jesuit Library invites you to learn about Motiejus Valančius as a Catholic bischop, historian, and the founder and promoter of Lithuanian Catholic literature. Thanks to his efforts, the dissemination of religious, moral, and educational texts continued uninterrupted even during the period of the press ban.

The exhibition features several significant publications from the collection of the Lithuanian Jesuit Library.
The exhibition will run until September 30, 2026.
