Merūnas Vitulskis: Eternal Melodies

On July 16, Merūnas Vitulskis will present his concert “Eternal Melodies” in the Grand Courtyard of the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania. One of Lithuania’s best-known tenors has prepared a special program accompanied by a string quartet, featuring a selection of classical masterpieces, film music, and beloved songs from around the world.

Merūnas Vitulskis is one of those rare performers whose voice is instantly recognizable—whether on the opera stage, at major concerts, or in popular music projects. His performances bring classical vocal artistry closer to a wider audience, giving familiar melodies new depth, warmth, and dramatic power.

The program will include timeless favorites such as “Nessun Dorma,” “Caruso,” “Granada,” “Bésame Mucho,” “You Raise Me Up,” and other songs that have become part of the musical memory of generations. Together, they tell stories of love, longing, hope, and the joy of life, spanning everything from the grand opera tradition to the passionate spirit of Mediterranean music.

The string quartet will add an intimate, chamber music atmosphere to the evening. Instead of grand orchestral spectacle, the focus will be on closeness, the expressive beauty of the voice, and the melodies themselves. This setting allows these well-loved works to be heard in a more refined yet deeply moving way.

The “Eternal Melodies” concert on July 16 promises a memorable summer evening for everyone who wishes to experience Merūnas Vitulskis in an elegant, melodic program that combines the dignity of a classical concert with the relaxed atmosphere of an open-air performance in the magnificent courtyard of the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania.
