A dance performance by Kristina Luna Dolinina

“Fragments” explores the shifting identity of the diaspora through Kathak, a form of classical dance from North India. Based on research conducted in the United Kingdom, Australia, and South Africa, the performance uses the language of dance to reflect on how traditions are passed down and how they change in different cultural environments across various migration destinations.

The performance “Fragments” is part of a broader academic project exploring the phenomenon of migration and diasporic identities.
