For 20 years, in the green Žvėrynas, we have been waiting for everyone who misses jazz in their life or lives to the rhythm of jazz.

“Rakija Klezmer Band” – charmingly and charismatically, adding new flavors, continues the life of the traditional Klezmer music style in Lithuania.

The works performed by the group are also inspired by the music of the Balkans, Roma and other Eastern European communities. The performers convey authentic sounds with their instruments through an extremely positive prism, from which even the most static listeners begin to applaud or stomp.

Energetic performances animate the audience and force them to sing along, get into the playful atmosphere and feel the age-old music. During the 11 years of existence, the group managed to play many concerts in Lithuania and abroad, which remained in the memory of many.

The choir project is partly financed by the Vilnius City Municipality.
For 21 years now, we have been playing jazz without an entrance fee, but we are grateful for your support. Information about possible support can be found by visiting “Veranda”.
