The historic 100th “Vivace Vilnius” concert – featuring Mūza Rubackytė

The international summer music festival Vivace Vilnius opens its fourteenth season with a truly special event—the festival’s celebratory 100th concert. This symbolic evening marks an important milestone in the festival’s history and reflects its steady growth and international recognition.

To celebrate this exceptional occasion, the stage will be graced by one of Lithuania’s most distinguished pianists, Mūza Rubackytė. Her programme will reveal the grandeur, virtuosity, and emotional depth of the Romantic era. The audience can look forward not only to an artistic performance of the highest calibre, but also to a meaningful celebration dedicated to the festival community, shaped over the years by internationally renowned teachers, performers, and emerging young talents.

Mūza Rubackytė is one of Lithuania’s most prominent pianists, internationally acclaimed for her distinctive artistic style, technical mastery, and intellectually refined interpretations. After graduating from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, she continued her studies at the Moscow Conservatory. Her international career flourished following her victory at the prestigious Franz Liszt International Piano Competition in Budapest.

She has performed extensively throughout Europe, Asia, and North America, collaborating with renowned conductors and orchestras. She is regarded as one of the world’s leading interpreters of Franz Liszt’s music, and her recordings have repeatedly received the highest praise from international music critics. Her repertoire spans music from a wide range of periods, from the Baroque era to works by contemporary composers.

Mūza Rubackytė is also actively involved in nurturing young musicians. She gives masterclasses in countries around the world and serves as a jury member at numerous international competitions. Her performances are distinguished by their extraordinary emotional impact, subtlety, and artistic freedom.
