Specialty Coffee Tasting in a 19th-Century Water Mill

You will dive into the world of coffee – from its origins to the perfectly brewed cup led by a professional barista.

– You will discover the history of coffee and learn professional tasting principles that help identify the flavours, aromas, and origins of coffee beans. We will prepare coffee using 4 different tools: Chemex, V60, AeroPress, and French press.
– You will taste carefully selected coffees from different regions of the world, including award-winning varieties recognized at the prestigious Global Coffee Awards. Together, we will analyse the character, texture, and flavour profile of each region.
– After the tasting, you will discover a wider palette of flavours and, most importantly, you will understand what kind of coffee you truly enjoy.
– You will taste specialty coffee served in handmade stoneware cups crafted in Portugal.
– A sweet surprise will be waiting for you at the end of the tasting.

The event takes place in an early 19th-century water mill belonging to the Verkiai Palace ensemble, designed – just like the palace itself – by Laurynas Stuoka-Gucevičius. The sound of the nearby waterfall will accompany you throughout the entire tasting.
