Festival “Džiazuojantis Žvėrynas” presents:
Talented youth playing jazz “Northbound Quartet”

Northbound Quartet is like four elements that act separately, but when combined they become one force. The melodic story of the saxophone, the harmonic space of the keyboards, the pulse of the bass guitar and the energy of the drums merge into one musical journey – from subtle, acoustic jazz to energetic and modern fusion.

All members of the quartet are professional performers who have graduated from music studies, actively perform and participate in their own and other creative projects. This experience allows Northbound Quartet to search not only for the familiar sound of jazz, but also for its own unique musical identity.

The quartet’s repertoire combines jazz standards, original compositions and contemporary fusion pieces. The music travels from jazz tradition to today’s sound, maintaining space for improvisation, spontaneity and lively communication between musicians.

Festival “DŽIAZUOJANTIS ŽVĖRYNAS”
This is a 3-day festival of the jazz community, Žvėryna residents, Vilnius residents and city guests, which will unite in the courtyard of “Veranda” surrounded by greenery for a unified jazz rhythm, education and positive energy.

The program includes international jazz projects, Lithuanian performers, young talents, creative education and a cozy atmosphere for the whole family.
This is a festival where jazz, community and summer evenings create a special atmosphere in Žvėrynas.
