This summer brings a truly special event to Vilnius’ concert calendar. The stage of the LVSO Concert Hall will welcome the New Jersey Youth Symphony Orchestra from the United States. It will also be the only free symphonic orchestra concert of its kind in Vilnius this summer.

Coming to Lithuania is the New Jersey Youth Symphony (NJYS), one of the most prestigious and accomplished youth orchestras in the United States, bringing together some of the most talented young musicians from across New Jersey. The orchestra has performed on some of the world’s most renowned stages, including Carnegie Hall in New York and the legendary Musikverein in Vienna, while earning top honors at international music festivals for its artistic excellence.

The orchestra is led by internationally acclaimed conductor Helen H. Cha-Pyo, one of the most respected figures in the American youth orchestra world. Under her direction, ensembles have toured throughout Europe, Asia, and North America, and she is widely recognized for her ability to make classical music vibrant, engaging, and accessible to audiences of all backgrounds.

The evening’s program will feature both symphonic masterpieces and contemporary works, showcasing the professionalism, energy, and passion of these exceptional young musicians. It is a rare opportunity to experience a world-class American youth orchestra free of charge in one of Lithuania’s premier concert venues.
