A stage adaptation of the beloved stories by German author and illustrator Janosch arrives at Teatro Krantas, bringing a timeless tale of friendship to life for children and adults alike.
The performance is based on Janosch’s famous characters, the Bear and the Tiger, who have been delighting audiences around the world for nearly 50 years.
At the heart of the story is a simple idea: when you have a true friend, there is nothing to fear.
The Bear and the Tiger are inseparable. The Bear is as strong as a bear, the Tiger as strong as a tiger. They live together in a cozy little house by the river, but their curiosity and desire for adventure constantly lead them on a journey in search of… Panama.
But where is this mysterious and beautiful Panama? And more importantly — what does it really mean to be at home and to have a friend?
This two-part theatrical production (1.5 hours with intermission) is designed for children aged 3+ and invites audiences into a warm, imaginative world about friendship, belonging, and the meaning of home.
