Iberi (Georgia) Live at Kiemas LIVE

On August 13, Kiemas LIVE welcomes Iberi, one of Georgia’s most acclaimed contemporary ensembles.

Known for preserving Georgia’s rich musical heritage while giving it a fresh, contemporary voice, Iberi combines authentic Georgian polyphonic singing, traditional instruments, and live improvisation. As a result, every performance is unique.

Georgian polyphonic singing is one of the world’s oldest musical traditions and was inscribed on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2008. Iberi presents this remarkable tradition with authenticity, sensitivity, and deep respect for its roots.
