Benjamin Clementine – European Tour 2026

British singer-songwriter and poet Benjamin Clementine returns to Vilnius this summer

The British musical troubadour and poet Benjamin Clementine, who has developed a special connection with Lithuania, is returning to Vilnius this summer.

Rumors that Benjamin Clementine was leaving music for a career in film have proven false. Earlier suggestions that he was saying goodbye to Lithuania were also unfounded. His true place remains the stage.

Benjamin is far from a typical performer. Videos recorded on mobile phones can still be found online showing him playing piano in the Paris Metro. Today, however, his extraordinary talent is recognized by some of the world’s leading music critics. International media frequently describe him as one of the most remarkable musicians of his generation, and he is admired by many prominent figures around the world. His life story is as inspiring as his artistry.

Lithuania holds a special place in Benjamin Clementine’s heart. The beginnings of this connection could already be felt during his first visit to Vilnius in 2016. For many concertgoers, it was a memorable discovery. Time has passed, and he has since built a devoted audience in the Lithuanian capital, returning now for what will be his fourth visit.

During his most recent performance, he translated the chorus of his song Condolence into Lithuanian and performed it together with the audience.

Having played piano since childhood, Benjamin Clementine is an accomplished composer, self-taught musician, distinguished poet, compelling performer, and an artist whose life has been shaped by significant personal challenges.

His tenor voice is so powerful and expressive that it often leaves listeners with chills.

Benjamin Clementine’s stage presence is both minimalist and highly theatrical. He frequently performs barefoot and dressed in dark, sharply tailored clothing. This austere visual style contrasts with the richness and emotional intensity of his music. He avoids repeating himself, excels as a storyteller, and reinvents his performances each time, presenting his music through new concepts and perspectives.

The question remains: how will Benjamin Clementine surprise Vilnius this time?
