Open Doors Day at Tuskulėnai Memorial

August 23 is the European Day of Remembrance for the Victims of Stalinism and Nazism and Baltic Way Day. On this meaningful day, we invite visitors to remember history, honour the victims of totalitarian regimes and discover the history of the Tuskulėnai Memorial.

On August 23, from 10:00 to 17:00, visitors can explore the museum exhibitions free of charge:

• “Project – HOMO SOVIETICUS” – exploring the forced formation of the Soviet individual, everyday life and spiritual resistance (Manor House, Žirmūnų St. 1F);
• “Secrets of Tuskulėnai Manor” – revealing the crimes of the Soviet totalitarian regime and the attempts to conceal them (White Manor, Žirmūnų St. 1N).
