Listeners can expect a special musical encounter, where the elegance of the international jazz scene and the mastery of piano improvisation will come together. Jazz vocalist Eglė Petrošiūtė and virtuoso pianist Vytautas Straižys will meet on stage.
Eglė Petrošiūtė, who lives and works in the Netherlands, is today one of the most prominent Lithuanian jazz personalities on the international stage. A graduate of the Amsterdam Conservatory, she performs all over the world, collaborates with famous orchestras and musicians, and her work subtly blends traditional, contemporary and Brazilian jazz. Her warm, rich voice and exceptional musical sensitivity have earned her recognition among jazz listeners and critics around the world.
She will be accompanied at the piano by Vytautas Straižys – a virtuoso pianist and a master of improvisation who has distinguished herself on international stages. His musical language combines the depth of the classical piano school with the freedom of jazz improvisation, and each performance becomes a lively and unique musical dialogue.
