There are concerts you simply hear, and then there are those you truly experience.
On August 19, Turkish pianist and composer Hüseyin Kırmızı will make his debut on the DOWNTOWN PIANO LAB stage, presenting his Baltic mini-tour, “Metamorphosis 26.”
This unique solo piano evening invites you to immerse yourself in music that blends contemporary piano, improvisation, and subtle Mediterranean motifs. Each melody emerges from a fusion of meticulously crafted compositions and spontaneous improvisation, ensuring that no two concerts are ever the same.
The concert will feature tracks from the artist’s upcoming album, earlier original compositions, and music from the cycle *Belle Paix: Memory of the Stones*. The entire program consists of the artist’s own music, opening up a sensitive, atmospheric, and captivating world of sound.
If you appreciate artists such as Ludovico Einaudi, Nils Frahm, or Joep Beving, this evening could well become one of the most beautiful musical discoveries of your summer.
The “Dainykla” project is partially funded by the Vilnius City Municipality.
