Gala Concert with Organ | In Celebration of Dainius Sverdiolas’s Jubilee

On September 30, we will celebrate the 70th birthday of the distinguished organist Dainius Sverdiolas with a special gala concert! This evening offers an opportunity not only to honour the jubilee of an outstanding performer, but also to celebrate his long-standing and exceptional contribution to Lithuania’s musical culture.

Dainius Sverdiolas is an artist of wide-ranging repertoire and profound musical erudition. For more than three decades, he has headed the Organum Piano Salon and, for more than ten years, the Organum Concert Hall, which he founded. The hall has become a remarkable and exceptionally vibrant space for classical music, jazz, and chamber music, as well as for unexpected creative encounters with its devoted audiences.

On this festive evening, the guest of honour will be celebrated by his friends and colleagues: pianists Petras and Lukas Geniušas, Alexander Paley, Jurgis Karnavičius, and Daumantas Kirilauskas; violinist Dalia Dedinskaitė; cellist Gleb Pyšniak; soprano Elena Sverdiolaitė; and pianist Gustas Raudonius.
