Vilnius Biennial of Performance Art

The second Vilnius Biennial of Performance Art (VB26) will take place in the capital from November 19 to 29. Over two long weekends, 12 performances by artists from Lithuania and abroad will be presented at various venues across Vilnius.

This year’s Vilnius Biennial of Performance Art programme will consist of two parts: a programme of invited artists curated by Artistic Director Neringa Bumblienė, and works by open-call participants selected by an international jury. Events will take place at the National Gallery of Art (NGA) of the Lithuanian National Museum of Art, Royal Theatre, the Composers’ House, Loftas Arts Factory and Elastica Club.

The full VB26 programme, venues and detailed schedule are available at vilniusbiennial.com.

VB26 is organised by Meno niša Gallery. The event is funded by the Lithuanian Council for Culture and supported by the Vilnius City Municipality. JCDecaux is the main partner, and reefo are the creative friends.
