“Kumotry” is a nostalgic portrait of a vanishing world, radiating sincere, simple humour and captivating with images conveying the enchanting beauty of the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains.

The director creates a moving film about memory, friendship, and the fragility and transience of life. It is a sensitive portrait of two heroines for whom each other means everything, encouraging us to reassess our priorities and look at reality from an unusual, less frequently explored perspective.
