Fifty-five years ago, the folk music ensemble Jaunimėlis began weaving together people from different Lithuanian cities and towns, each bringing their own homeland, traditions and stories.
Years pass and generations change, but Jaunimėlis continues to be woven together by what brings people close: Lithuanian folk dance, music, a sense of community and a love of traditions. This year, the ensemble celebrates its 55th anniversary.
Jaunimėlis invites you to the concert “Woven Together by Our Homelands” to remember, celebrate, dance and discover what the ensemble has created over the past 55 years.
The ensemble will not celebrate alone. Its friends will also take the stage, with more details to be revealed very soon.
Let’s meet where our homelands come together to weave Jaunimėlis.
