Summer Sunday afternoons are meant for slowing down, good company, and creativity. That’s why Bernardinų Protmūšiai is launching a new project, Paints & Friends, which will take place on summer Sundays at 7 Fridays Vingis.
One of these gatherings will be held in collaboration with AY Institute and the international project A Million Voices, which uses creativity, storytelling, and community to amplify the voices of the people of Ukraine while creating space for meaningful dialogue, empathy, and connection.
This Sunday’s theme: Paintings by Ukrainian artists
Together, we will discover some of Ukraine’s most renowned artists, explore their iconic works, and draw inspiration for our own paintings. This will be more than just a creative afternoon—it will also be an opportunity to learn more about Ukrainian culture, art, and the stories that feel especially important today.
You do NOT need to be a professional or even have any previous experience with a paintbrush or pencil. Our only rule is simple: come together, connect with others, share good vibes, and create for the joy of it.
A translator will be available throughout the session to provide Lithuanian–Ukrainian interpretation, ensuring that everyone can participate comfortably and feel welcome.
Materials: Feel free to bring a sheet of paper and any art supplies you’d like to experiment with—colored pencils, markers, watercolors, pens, or anything else you enjoy using.
If you don’t have any supplies—no stress! We’ll have basic materials available free of charge.
Participation is free, but registration is required so we know how many places to prepare:
