Contemporary Circus Performance “7 Minutes” | City with Circus

Location: Pilaitė (Tolminkiemio St. 13), Basketball Court

“7 Minutes” is the amount of time an artist spends on stage, even though preparing for those few minutes often takes a lifetime. The performance explores the processes of rehearsal, trust and partnership. Circus, theatre and music artists come together to find a common language between different disciplines, with contemporary circus becoming their meeting point. Through juggling, physical theatre and live music, they create a performance about the creative process – its efforts, failures, discoveries and shared experiences.

This summer, the contemporary circus and interdisciplinary arts organisation būda.collective invites residents of Vilnius to discover contemporary circus. As part of the City with Circus project, open juggling workshops and performances of “7 Minutes” will take place in public spaces across different neighbourhoods of the city.
