PAINTS AND FRIENDS #8 X AY INSTITUTE: Textured Paintings

Summer Sunday afternoons are made for slow moments, good company, and creativity. That’s why “Bernardinų Protmūšiai” is introducing a new project called “Paints and Friends”, where we will meet on summer Sundays at “7 Fridays Vingis”.

For the second time, the event will take place together with AY Institute and the international project “A Million Voices”, which aims to strengthen the voices of Ukrainian people through creativity, storytelling, and community building, while creating a space for sensitive dialogue, empathy, and connection.

This Sunday’s theme: Textured Painting

Using primer, we will experiment with creating as many different 3D artworks as possible.

Materials: primer, spatula, knife; a canvas or cardboard would work best.

And if you don’t have anything – no stress! We will have basic materials available at the venue that you can use free of charge.

You DO NOT need to be a professional artist or even someone who has ever been close to a paintbrush or pencil. Our most important rule is simple – come together, connect, share good vibes, and just create for your own enjoyment.

During the activity, there will be an interpreter who will help translate from Lithuanian into Ukrainian, so that all participants can comfortably take part and feel welcome.

Participation is free of charge, but registration is required so that we know how many places to prepare: https://forms.gle/GZdQqtcpPf7p3uJb8

The “7 Fridays” team will make sure the creative process runs smoothly and will prepare special, friendly offers from the bar menu for all participants.

Bring your friends or come on your own and meet new like-minded people here.
