CONCERT “UNIQUE TRADITIONS” | 21st INTERNATIONAL FOLKLORE FESTIVAL “POKROVO VARPAI”

Here, Lithuanian and international folklore ensembles will come together to present the authentic traditional culture of their regions.

The audience will hear the best ensembles of Lithuania’s ethnic communities – winners of the national “Tradicijų paveldėtojai” (“Heirs of Traditions”) competition – as well as festival guests from abroad. It will be an evening where traditional music sounds just as it is passed down from generation to generation: live, sincere and without stage filters.

It is a meeting with a tradition that lives in people. Every voice and instrument becomes a bridge between the past and the present, between the homes they have come from and the city where their music is heard.
