Andrius Mamontovas will be giving the biggest concert of his solo career on the legendary summer stage in Vilnius’s Vingis Park. Forty years of his and Foje’s most popular hits will be presented in a unique format.
A symphony orchestra conducted by maestro Modestas Pitrėnas will treat the audience to a sensitive, deep and powerful performance of the songs loved by different generations. An orchestral arrangement created by the talented composer Jievaras Jasinskis will give the songs musical shades that have never been heard before.
The spectacular open-air event will be created by massive LED screens and a powerful light show, and an immersive sound system will give true sound connoisseurs a cinematic sound experience.
The concert is also being held to celebrate Vilnius’s 700th birthday – it will be Mamontovas’s only concert in Lithuania of this scale.
The musician invites everyone – loyal fans, lovers of good music and guests of the country – to welcome in summer together and become part of a historic concert on 9 June in Vingis Park.
Fun fact! Andrius Mamontovas holds a Lithuanian record – 60,000 people attended the Foje farewell concert in Vingis Part on 17 May 1997. To this day, this is the largest number of people to attend a concert by a Lithuanian musician in the country’s history.
