Walking tour and lecture “(Not) lost Paradise in the Gardens and ineriors of Vilnius “
The image of the Garden of Eden has always been one of the main themes in art. Throughout history, the depiction of the Garden of Eden has changed, but has persisted even into modern times. We will review this together with Vilnius guide Liuda Matoniene and interior architect Gitana Valavičiūtė.
The program includes a walk around the Bernardine Garden, the Bernardine Church, Sv.. Mykolo street, the courtyard of the first botanical garden of Vilnius University, in the studio/gallery “Balta balta” we will listen to an illustrated lecture by Gitana Valavičiūtė about the symbolism of paradise in modern interiors.
The price of the event is 15 euros per person. Number of participants – up to 15 people.
