The most prominent British jazz talents of the new era, breaking new barriers of creativity. Binker Golding and drummer Moses Boyd, a free jazz saxophone and drums duo, do not restrict themselves to one genre, instead the creative acts of both musicians cover a wide range of sounds, from jazz to rap to electronic sounds. The duo has released four albums during their ten-year career together and won numerous awards, including the title of the Best British Jazz Artist in 2016.
“Is Binker Golding the new Sonny Rollins? The new Coltrane? Or both?” the music magazine MOJO eloquently asked. The saxophonist, who won the Jazz FM Instrumentalist of the Year award in 2020, stands out with his trademark, hard-hitting tenor sound.
Boyd is the leader of the band Exodus, a record producer, DJ and radio host. He has collaborated with an impressive constellation of artists from jazz and other genres, from Beyoncé and Little Simz, to electronic music visionaries, Floating Points and Four Tet.
Their music shows the different paths that jazz can take – to places where it is not constrained by any frames or stereotypes.

The main stage of the 23rd Vilnius Mama Jazz festival, at the New Hall of the Lithuanian National Drama Theatre, will host six concerts over four days, featuring the well-known jazz masters and the latest jazz trendsetters.
