www.vilnius-events.lt is a website aimed at presenting information about the cultural events in the city of Vilnius and its surroundings in a concise, visual and attractive way. Special attention is devoted to traditional events, festivals and non-commercial events in the city.
Information is presented in the Lithuanian, English, Russian languages and is relevant both to a city-dweller and a tourist who arrives from a foreign country. The possibility is raised, even if one has no Internet access, to obtain information through information terminals in main hotels, at the airport, in the Old Town, as well as with the help of info specialists working at Vilnius tourist information centres.
The website of the events "Vilniaus renginių mozaika" (Mosaic of Vilnius Events) is expected to encourage people to take interest in cultural life of the capital and help Vilnius remain on the cultural map of Europe.
Information about events - find, share, co-operate!
Visitor of the website, you are kindly invited to look for and find useful information about the events in the city of Vilnius and its surroundings, to recommend and share it with your friends, acquaintances, colleagues through social networks, to take interest in the impressions of the events, to download summaries of the weekend events, and the organisers of the events are urged to provide information about the events planned.

Rubric – Impressions of the Events – you are invited to share vivid impressions and mini photos reporting of the events in the city and its surroundings.
Social networks, recommend it to your friend – various possibilities to share information about the events, invite a person that is dear to you to spend your free time together.
Rubric – Announce about the Event – an invitation to the organisers of the event, theatres, galleries to be active when sending information about the events: in presenting a brief description of the event, detailed additional information (the date, venue, time of the event, ticket prices, places of buying tickets) and five photographs depicting the event.
Information about the events – find even without Internet access!
Even if you have no Internet access, no computer, you can obtain information of the website "Mosaic of the Events":
• At main hotels of Vilnius (their number totals 30 hotels) by means of special equipment – info-terminals – that have touch sensitive screens (from spring of the year 2010). A guest who arrives in Vilnius does not necessary have to have a computer, nor access to the Internet. She/he will obtain information by going up to the info-terminal and choosing the rubric events.
• While using the information terminals of the public enterprise Vilniaus turizmo informacijos centras ir konferencijų biuras (Vilnius Tourist Information Centre & Conference Bureau) that function at Vilniaus St. 22, Didžioji St. 31 (Vilnius Town Hall) and Šventaragio St. 2 (Info Pavilion located in Cathedral Square), as well as at Vilnius Airport (Arrivals Hall).
• While visiting Vilnius Tourist Information Centres (Vilniaus St. 22, Didžioji St. 31 (Vilnius Town Hall), Geležinkelio St. 16 (Railway Station), Šventaragio St. 2 (Cathedral Square), Rodūnios Road 2 (Vilnius airport)) and having communicated with the info specialists who can advise you on how to plan your time in the city, acquaint you with the upcoming events.
