VU CULTURE CENTRE invites you to share stories, listen to stories told live, and meet new people at STORYTELLING EVENING!
Organised since 2018, the VU Storytelling Evening is open to everyone and will take place on Tuesday, October 27, at 7 PM at the Aula Parva Café, Universiteto St. 3.
This time, the theme is POWER – stories about power and powerlessness, about empowering ourselves and others, and about those who help us feel powerful. The event will be in ENGLISH!
The evening will be hosted by storyteller Milda Varnauskaitė aka @Storyteller Milda.
As always, the night is open to your stories. If you would like to share a story, not just listen, register by email: [email protected]
To help us know how many chairs and cups of tea to prepare, registration is required for everyone – both listeners and storytellers!

IMPORTANT: Due to scheduled construction work of St. John’s Church, part of the VU Main Courtyard will be blocked, and access through the gate on Pilies Street will not be possible. You can reach the event venue through the Philology Gate, located next to the parking lot (on the Universiteto street side). Through these gates, you’ll enter the M. K. Sarbievijus Courtyard; behind the fountain there are stairs leading up to the Main Courtyard of Vilnius University. The Aula café will be right in front of you once you cross the courtyard.
The event is free of charge.
Photography and filming may take place during the event. By participating, you agree that the material may be used for VU communication and promotional purposes.
We regret that the event takes place in the historic spaces of Vilnius University, which have limited physical accessibility for people with mobility disabilities. No remote broadcast is planned.
The event is organised by the VU Culture Centre, bringing together 16 art collectives and creative studios. Every year, the Centre invites the university community and the public to a variety of cultural experiences across different genres.
