About Käärijä:
Born Jere Mikael Pöyhönen in a suburb of Vantaa, Finland, Käärijä discovered his passion for music learning drums and started creating music at the age of 20. His debut album, Fantastista, was released in 2020.

The world got to know this expressive and energetic artist in 2023, when he won Finland’s national Eurovision selection with the rhythmic “Cha Cha Cha” and represented Finland at the contest in Liverpool. Although he finished second overall, he received the highest number of votes from the audience — 376 points. “Cha Cha Cha” reached #7 on the global Spotify charts and became the most streamed song ever performed in Finnish.

Käärijä openly cites the band Rammstein as a major influence, even sporting a tattoo of them on his chest. He has received five Emma Gaala awards (Finland’s equivalent of the Grammy) and an MTV Europe Music Award.

At Käärijä’s concerts, fans can hear not only “Cha Cha Cha”, but also hits like “Ruoska”, “TRAFIK!”, “#eurodab”, and “It’s Crazy It’s Party” (feat. Estonian artist Tommy Cash). Lithuanian audiences already witnessed his electrifying stage presence during the Granatos Live 2024 festival, which was a sensational hit with fans.

2026 promises to be a triumphant year for Käärijä: his May concert at Helsinki’s Veikkaus Arena is nearly sold out, and the tour will include 24 shows across 15 European countries. Käärijä promises this tour will be especially ambitious and spectacular compared to his 2023 and 2024 tours.
