Vilnius Tango Theatre – ENTRE LA LUZ

For many of us, tango is first and foremost a dance – and there will be plenty of it in this show! ENTRE LA LUZ takes the audience into a world where dance becomes a confession, and every step feels like a delicate balance on an invisible line between light and darkness.

The show’s creators – choreographers Sigitas Repšys and Alexis González – once again surprise audiences with their imagination and creative twists. Every movement and every pause is filled with emotion.

On stage – passionate tango masters from Lithuania and Argentina.

Tango has many qualities inherent to theatre, making every dance a dramatic story filled with unexpected twists and turns.

The innovative tango composer Astor Piazzolla’s music, contrasted with classic and early tango masterpieces and enriched by the charismatic voices of vocalists Patricija Luščynska and Greta Švedkauskė, comes together in a cohesive, hypnotic performance that lingers in the memory. Each time, it is enriched by our own experiences, emotions and expectations.
