On October 18, the feast day of St Luke, our museum will celebrate its 17th anniversary! So, on October 17, we invite you to celebrate with us.
At 16:30, Laura Petrauskaitė, curator of the exhibition Hidden Within, will tell the fascinating detective story of the Vilnius Cathedral Treasury, full of concealment and discoveries, and share the latest discoveries made at the Cathedral in 2024. Immediately afterwards, our friends, the Vilnius Sacred Music Choir Adoramus, will perform a special festive programme. The “Song about the Wedding of Sigismund Augustus” will sound especially moving beside the funerary crown and jewellery of Barbara Radziwiłł, displayed in the exhibition.
