Thank You for Your Service | In Memoriam Memorial and Support Run

On October 17, 2026, the In Memoriam Memorial and Support Run will take place for the twelfth time in Vilnius’s Vingis Park, dedicated to honouring Lithuanian soldiers who have passed away this year.

Everyone is welcome to participate, regardless of age or physical fitness. The 1 km and 4 km distances are suitable for families with children as well as individual participants, while the 10 km distance is intended for those wishing to compete in the official Lithuanian Armed Forces Running Championship.

This meaningful memorial event is organised by the Grand Duke Birutė Officers’ Families Women’s Union, in cooperation with the Ministry of National Defence of the Republic of Lithuania, the Lithuanian Armed Forces and supporting organisations.

The event is held under the patronage of Commander of the Lithuanian Armed Forces, General Raimundas Vaikšnoras.
