The African American Comedy Show

A comedy night full of loud laughs, witty discomfort, and unfiltered crowdwork.

The two comedians are from two different worlds. One is from a country ruled by a dictator and full of strife; the other is from Senegal, a country in West Africa. A night full of uncomfortable laughter and uncomfortable truths.

Comedians:

One comedian comes from a deadly part of the world where, if the animals are trying to kill you, people with guns will get you: Texas. Ben McWilliams is an American living in Lithuania. His travels give him a strange perspective on how he views the world and how he interacts with the people around him.

Bass, Senegal’s razor-sharp export now based in France, hits the stage with fearless stand-up that slices through the absurdities of life across Europe. Expect punchlines that land fast and linger longer than fascism in Europe.

Format

First Half: Individual stand-up sets where each comedian shares their chaotic life experiences.

Second Half: High-engagement crowdwork. Drop your burning questions or anonymous comments into our venue bucket, and we’ll read and roast them live on stage.
