Mindaugas Stumbras is one of Lithuania’s most prominent jazz guitarists and composers, whose music brings together emotional depth, intellectual sophistication, and a subtle approach to sound. An established performer on the international scene, he is a graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and his music has been featured at prestigious jazz festivals and clubs across Europe.

The programme features original compositions from the albums Among the Pines, Inspirations, and his latest work, The Spinner of Yarns, as well as several completely new pieces that have never been performed before. It is a musical journey through the broad spectrum of Mindaugas’s creative work — from subtle acoustic textures to intense, energy-filled jazz improvisations.
Each composition is like a story of its own, shaped by personal experiences, cultural impressions, and inner explorations. These stories intertwine the freedom of jazz improvisation, the colours of world music, and contemporary harmonies, brought vividly to life by the ensemble in a captivating live performance.
