“The Little Prince” Musical

“The Little Prince” Musical Returns to Vilnius Arena on November 14

The musical “The Little Prince” is touring Lithuania and returns to Vilnius Arena on November 14.

“New Opera” invites audiences of all ages to enjoy “The Little Prince”, a musical based on the famous work by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, one of the most widely read masterpieces of world literature. This is a moving, visually rich musical story that brings together the performing arts, live music and poetic storytelling.

The production features well-known Lithuanian performers: Serafimas Glušajevas, Sakalas Uždavinys, Vytautas Rašimas, Marta Lipčienė, Ingrida Žiliūtė, Emilija Finagėjavaitė, Donatas Mačiulis and Jonas Sakalauskas. They are joined on stage by an orchestra, choir, aerial acrobats and symbolic characters from the fairy tale, creating a spectacular, star-filled stage world. The music and libretto were written by composer and director Jonas Sakalauskas.

This musical production invites audiences on a meaningful journey exploring friendship, responsibility, love and human connection. It is a story that moves both children and adults: younger audiences will be enchanted by the colourful set design and projections, while older viewers will be touched by its profound and sensitive storytelling.

“The Little Prince” is more than a performance – it is an experience that reminds us of a simple but important truth: what is essential is invisible to the eye and can only be seen with the heart.
