20th Anniversary Vilnius Gospel Music Festival

From November 20 to 22, Vilnius will once again become a home for gospel music, for the twentieth time. The anniversary 20th Vilnius Gospel Music Festival invites everyone to three days of music, community and inspiring encounters, bringing together performers and audiences from Lithuania and abroad.

The festival’s main highlight will be the anniversary concert on November 21 at 18:30 at the Church of St. Johns, Vilnius University.

PROGRAMME:

• November 20 – Gospel music workshop led by Jonas Engström (Sweden).
• November 21 | 18:30 – ANNIVERSARY CONCERT OF THE 20TH VILNIUS GOSPEL MUSIC FESTIVAL

  Venue: Church of St. Johns, Vilnius University (12 Šv. Jono St.)

  Time: 18:30

  The anniversary concert will feature the United Festival Gospel Choir, Jonas Engström (Sweden), Kristina Žaldokaitė, Marija Monika Dičiūnė, Jonas Sakalauskas, the Suwałki City Gospel Choir (Poland), and professional and amateur arts groups from Lithuania.

• November 22 | 11:00 – Church service and a concert by festival guests at the Vilnius Evangelical Lutheran Church (20 Vokiečių St.).

Admission to all festival events is free.

The festival is organised by the Lithuanian Young Christian Association (LJKS). The festival is partially funded by Vilnius City Municipality.
