An Evening of Jazz Ballads and Swing | JAZZ IN CASE

On the evening of November 12, DOWNTOWN PIANO LAB will be filled with elegant swing, heartfelt ballads and sunny bossa nova rhythms. Taking the stage will be “Jazz In Case”, a young jazz quintet inviting audiences to rediscover the lively, warm and timeless sound of traditional jazz.

Formed by pianist Justas Selenis, the ensemble will perform jazz classics inspired by legendary musicians such as Bill Evans, Bobby Timmons, George Gershwin and Duke Ellington. The musicians will take listeners on a journey through different moods – from infectious, pulsating swing to melodic ballads and light, rhythmic bossa nova.

This evening, the group will be joined by talented vocalist Austėja Kazlauskaitė. Her voice and the song lyrics will bring new colours to familiar melodies, allowing audiences to experience their stories in a more intimate and emotional way.
