Vilnius City Pool Cup 2026 – “Pool Competitions for Everyone” – Amateur Division

“Vilnius City Pool Cup 2026 – Pool Competitions for Everyone” is a year-long series of city tournaments dedicated to the development of pool, the promotion of active leisure and sporting excellence, and the strengthening of the billiards community in Vilnius.

On September 12–13, 2026, the Amateur Division tournament will take place at CYBERPOOL Billiards Club, welcoming amateur pool players from Vilnius and across Lithuania.

This is an opportunity to test your skills in a competitive sporting environment, gain valuable tournament experience, and become part of the Vilnius City Pool Cup 2026 season. Both newcomers and experienced amateur players are welcome to participate.

Players classified in the A Division of the Lithuanian Billiards Federation are not eligible to participate in the Amateur Division. B Division players and other amateur pool players are welcome to compete.

The top four players in the Amateur Division will qualify for the final stage of the Vilnius City Pool Cup 2026, which will take place on December 12, 2026, together with the finals of all other divisions.

Entry fee: EUR 10. Participation is free for persons with disabilities.

In case of non-attendance or arrival more than 15 minutes late, the participant may be disqualified and the entry fee will not be refunded.

The remaining tournament organisation costs are covered by Vilnius City Municipality and project partners.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

• The tournament will be played in the 8-Ball Pool discipline using a Double Elimination format.
• Match distances will be determined according to the number of registered participants, the tournament stage, and the overall competition schedule.
• The break will alternate between players.
• The tournament will be played according to the current WPA and Lithuanian Billiards Federation rules.
• The organisers reserve the right to adjust the tournament format, match distances, and schedule in order to ensure the smooth running of the competition.
