RE:TURN | Thriller of Sounds

After many years of study and creative work in Europe and the U.S., the duo of flutist Dominyka Šeibok and pianist Emilija Rožukaitė returns to their home stage. The performers invite you to an extraordinary performance in which the music takes on the characteristics of a tense psychological thriller.

Using virtuosic acoustic effects and profound sonic dramaturgy, the musicians will offer a fresh interpretation of works by the enigmatic César Franck, the colorful Osvaldas Balakauskas, and the dramatic Frank Marten. For this evening, the stage will become a space of emotional shifts and shadows, drawing the listener into the winding labyrinths of the subconscious.

RE:TURN is a project by the Music Magic Club aimed at bringing professional Lithuanian musicians—who currently live abroad or have recently returned to Lithuania—into Vilnius’s cultural scene. These are musicians who often have significant achievements on the international stage and are well-known in other countries, but who have not yet had enough opportunities to perform frequently in their homeland. This series aims to provide them with the opportunity to take their rightful place among their peers in Lithuania’s musical life and to earn the recognition of music lovers in Vilnius.
