Vytautas V. Landsbergis Trio Concert: ABOUT BIRDS
About event
In troubled times, peace becomes a home of longing, a place we wish we could fly away to and rest. But where is the nest of our soul hidden? Perhaps in a folk song, especially one about birds. Perhaps in poetry. Perhaps in the wise people we meet along life’s journey, who have shown us playfulness as a remedy for anxiety and the fleeting nature of life. People who have gifted us glimpses of light and the promise that, in the very heart of every storm, there is a place where a seagull can glide in silence.
The concert programme, “About Birds,” features songs, poetry, conversations and film excerpts.
