Family Performance: “Kitchen Story”
About event

The New Theatre invites you to a lively puppet performance for children and the whole family – “Kitchen Story”!

Recommended for: children aged 2–8
Duration: ~50 minutes

Is it possible to cook soup when the vegetables decide to… rebel?

This fun and playful story follows a mischievous group of vegetables meant to become a special soup. But two true troublemakers – Carrot and Pepper – decide to revolt: they no longer want to give up their best qualities and plan to change the recipe! What will happen next? Will the cook, with the help of the young audience, manage to prepare a tasty and healthy soup after all?

“Kitchen Story” is an interactive puppet show where children actively participate—moving, answering questions, helping the cook, and even searching for a missing recipe book.

During the performance, children will learn about the origins of vegetables (which ones were brought by Christopher Columbus?), their health benefits, and the vitamins they provide. Together, they will “cook” a vegetable soup with a secret ingredient—love. Along the way, they’ll meet cheerful vegetable characters like Potato, Onion, Beetroot, Broccoli, Tomato, and Cucumber.

This performance not only sparks imagination and encourages healthy eating but also brings joy, smiles, and valuable knowledge for the whole family.

Come and experience how vegetables become heroes and soup turns into a true kitchen fairy tale!
