A HYPNOTIC EVENING OF MUSIC

As a December evening falls over the Old Town, St. Catherine’s Church will be filled with one of the most beautiful musical experiences of our time – the music of Ludovico Einaudi, which has captured the hearts of millions of listeners around the world.

The concert “A Hypnotic Evening of Music” will feature the Italian composer’s most famous works – from the moving I Giorni and Nuvole Bianche to the magnificent Divenire and the audience favourite Experience. This is music that needs no words – it speaks directly to the emotions, inviting listeners to pause, listen and immerse themselves in inner peace.

For the first time in Lithuania, this programme will be performed in a special chamber orchestra and piano format. Soloist Kamilė Zaveckaitė (piano), together with the St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra, led by Artistic Director and Chief Conductor Modestas Barkauskas, will reveal new dimensions of Einaudi’s music. The subtle dialogue between strings and piano will bring even greater depth, warmth and emotional power to these familiar compositions.
