„Tyliai tyliai“ is an intimate two-person drama about silence that becomes (un)bearable.
After a suicide attempt, a young woman chooses silence – not as liberation, but as the only crisis management strategy she knows. The action unfolds in her room, where the past is ever-present: her grandmother’s voice, the loss of her father, her mother’s silence. A fragile bond begins to form between her and a young man – he wants to help but doesn’t know how; she wants to be understood but is afraid to open up.
This is a play about silence as both defense and a cry for help. About the desire to be loved without hiding one’s wounds. About the fear of speaking up – and the hope that it’s possible.
