Do you like your name? Have you ever wanted to change it? Do you know the story behind your name?
Someone gave you your name, birth date, and other important details that shape who you are today. How do you think it feels to carry the name and surname of a person you have hardly interacted with your whole life?
The solo performance “Sheep” is the result of a creative collaboration between actor and playwright Raimondas Klezys and director Justas Tertelis. This interactive show for youth is inspired by autobiographical experiences. It invites the audience to explore sensitive topics together with the actor — themes that connect our childhood, adolescence, and adult life. The performance speaks about the frustration, anger, sadness, and forgiveness of a young person. About topics that peers, armed with their glowing phones, usually feel shy to discuss.
So, how did you get your name?
The solo performance “Sheep” (dir. J. Tertelis) was awarded the Golden Stage Cross in 2024.
