Macy Gray will give an unforgettable concert at the LVSO Concert Hall
Today, R&B/soul singer, songwriter, musician and producer Macy Gray has announced the first dates of her On How Life Is 25th Anniversary Tour. It is officially announced that the tour will also include Lithuania – the talented singer Macy Gray will perform at the LVSO Concert Hall in Vilnius on 4 June. Fans of the artist will have a special opportunity to hear her unique voice and celebrate the 25th anniversary of her debut album On How Life.
Macy Gray – I Try
Macy Gray rose to worldwide fame in 1999 when her hit single “I Try” became one of the best-selling singles, won a Grammy Award and made her an international star. Over more than two decades, she has released ten studio albums and collaborated with music greats such as Erykah Badu, OutKast, Ariana Grande, Carlos Santana and many others.
Her voice is unforgettable. Her unique, slightly husky and emotional timbre gives her songs a special sound that makes Macy Gray’s music easily recognisable and loved around the world. She masterfully combines elements of soul, jazz, R&B and even funk, and her concerts are more than just performances, they are real emotional journeys.
In addition to music, Macy Gray is also known as an active social and human rights activist. She regularly raises issues around racial equality, women’s rights and mental health issues, has founded a number of social initiatives to help young people and vulnerable communities.
This June, Macy Gray’s greatest hits, as well as the latest tracks from her albums released in recent years will be performed at the LVSO Concert Hall. In 2022, Macy Gray, together with The California Jet Club, has released the album “Christmas with You”, featuring holiday songs with a distinctive sound. In 2023, she released the album The Reset, featuring tracks like “The Disco Song” and “Thinking of You”. These new tracks reflect Macy Gray’s ability to constantly renew herself and surprise her listeners with her creativity.
